Sani-Tech is committed to collecting, using, and disclosing all personal information responsibly, only within the limits of the consent given and to the extent necessary to carry out its professional activities. It also strives to limit the amount of information it collects about individuals or organizations to that which is necessary to carry out its professional activities and for any other reason defined in this policy.

As an employer, Sani-Tech collects and uses personal information about its employees, which is an essential aspect of managing labor relations. Sani-Tech is committed to collecting, using, and disclosing this information only to manage and simplify relationships with its employees.
Sani-Tech collects personal information about candidates to assess their candidacy for employment. This information may come from third parties, such as professional references, background checks, and screening services. If the candidate is not hired, Sani-Tech destroys the personal information. If Sani-Tech hires the candidate, the information is added to the candidate’s employee file.
Sani-Tech also collects and retains personal information about its former employees, such as their name, contact information, and medical records, if applicable.
Sani-Tech’s Internet servers automatically collect the IP address, date and time of each visit to the websites, pages viewed, documents downloaded, searches performed, and the URL link used to access the site. This information is used for website troubleshooting and to correct operational problems.
Sani-Tech uses cookies to monitor traffic and usage of its sites and related information on the sites. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored on the computer to allow the browser to remember certain data about a website. Most browsers automatically accept cookies but can be configured to refuse them or report their presence. Cookies are also used to personalize the interface to speed up navigation and make the user experience more efficient. Without cookies, these functions are impossible. When a user accesses a website, a cookie lets you know if it is their first visit. Sani-Tech uses cookies to learn about the site’s features that are most used by a user and thus recommend other similar features.
Sani-Tech also uses Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads. Finally, third-party providers may use cookies to serve ads to users who visit Sani-Tech’s sites. To disable personalized advertising from Google, visit the Google Ads Settings page.
No personal information is extracted from this process, and this data is not shared with any third parties.
By browsing Sani-Tech’s sites, the user consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of information collected about them, in accordance with this privacy policy, or that they provide themselves on this site, such as their contact information when registering for a newsletter.
Some pages of the site, such as the credit card payment page, may contain links to other sites. Sani-Tech cannot be held responsible for the privacy practices of third parties and strongly recommends that the user read the privacy policy of these third parties before providing them with personal information.
On the credit card payment page, the customer is asked to provide personal information, such as their name, contact information, and payment details, which will be used to associate their online payment with the goods concerned. This type of payment is processed by Shopify. Sani-Tech does not collect, store, or view any credit card information provided to Shopify.
When someone provides Sani-Tech with the personal information of another person, they declare that they have previously obtained the authorization of that person for Sani-Tech to collect, use, and disclose their personal information for the purposes set out in this policy.
Everyone has the choice of whether or not to provide personal information to Sani-Tech. However, any request must be accompanied by certain information so that Sani-Tech can respond to the request. Therefore, the person authorizes Sani-Tech to collect and use this information for this purpose and to disclose it to third parties. They also authorize Sani-Tech to use and retain personal information for as long as necessary for the above purposes. The authorization remains in effect even after the end of the relationship with Sani-Tech, unless the person withdraws it in writing.
Sani-Tech may install cameras or other recording devices in public areas of its facilities for the protection of its employees, property, and confidential customer information. The cameras are static and do not record any sound. Only administrators have access to video recordings, which are kept for up to twelve months, depending on traffic flow.
The law contains certain exceptions under which Sani-Tech is not required to obtain authorization or explain its reasons for collecting, using, or disclosing personal information. Apart from the exceptions provided by law, personal information is only used for the purposes for which it was collected. If, for any reason, Sani-Tech needs to use or disclose personal information for a purpose other than that originally established, it will take the necessary steps to obtain the authorization of the person concerned.
In the course of conducting its operations, Sani-Tech may need to disclose personal information collected to other service providers or agents acting on its behalf. When Sani-Tech discloses personal information to third parties (for example, to a technology service provider), it enters into agreements with these third parties stipulating the authorized uses and including a commitment from the third parties to provide a level of protection of personal information comparable to that of Sani-Tech.
Sani-Tech does not sell, rent, or exchange customer lists or any other personal information.
Sani-Tech keeps each person’s personal information in a digital file. This file is stored in a properly protected cloud infrastructure.
Sani-Tech uses all appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural measures to protect its systems and all personal information it holds against unauthorized use or access. All security measures are adapted to the degree of confidentiality of the information collected.
The contract that service providers and agents enter into with Sani-Tech includes an obligation to protect the confidentiality of information provided by customers and a prohibition on using this data for unauthorized purposes.
Employees are subject to strict standards and policies to ensure that personal information is protected and treated with care and respect.
Sani-Tech takes all appropriate measures to protect personal information. However, there are inherent risks in exchanging or protecting data through any form of communication (electronic or otherwise), including the use of commercial or public software and services (often referred to as “cloud”). Any sending of personal information may be intercepted, accidentally or deliberately, by third parties.
Our servers are in Canada, but Sani-Tech may use commercial and public software and services hosted elsewhere to store, send, or process certain data. When data is stored outside of Canada, it may be accessible to foreign law enforcement, governments, or courts.
Anyone can contact Sani-Tech’s Privacy Officer for more information about its privacy policies and procedures, to request access to certain personal information that Sani-Tech may hold about them, or for any questions or concerns. Sani-Tech reserves the right to request personal information from any person to verify their identity.
Sani-Tech will respond promptly and make every effort to address the issues raised. However, it may not always be able to provide certain personal information, as the right of access to information is not absolute. For example, it will not be able to provide information that would reveal personal information about another person or confidential business information. If it is not possible to provide the requested information, Sani-Tech will inform the person in writing, explain why, and indicate possible recourse.
