Founded in 1975 by Mr. André d’Anjou and Mrs. Géraldine Pelchat, our company was born out of a desire to provide a comprehensive service offering for the supply of restroom accessories to general contractors.
In 1992, Louis d’Anjou took over the leadership of the family business with the ambition of conquering the greater Montreal area market. He aimed to make the company the go-to reference for personalized customer service. It was during this time that the company expanded its service offering by taking on the installation of the products sold, which helped establish us as a leader in our field.
As part of its growth strategy and to expand its service offering, Sani-Tech Inc. created its own brand of architectural products: EAD Design. By manufacturing toilet partitions, Groupe Sani-Tech developed its manufacturing department and quickly captured a competitive market in its field.
Sani-Tech Inc. acquired one of its competitors in the Montreal area, Les Distributions Dagil. This branch serves as a lever for business development in the metropolitan area, providing a fast service point for clients and a warehouse that streamlines service and operations.
Groupe Sani-Tech is born; Sani-Tech Inc., EAD and Les Distributions Dagil officially merge into a single company.
The move of our headquarters to a building tailored to our business needs ushers in a new era of development. The company quickly reaches a new stage of growth.
In 2020, Simon Côté d’Anjou, who had successfully served as General Manager for four years, was appointed President of the family business. With his experience and vision for the future, he set the stage for the company’s growth, taking it to new heights. Simon structured the organization, built a committed leadership team, and played a key role in defining Groupe Sani-Tech’s identity, marking a new milestone in the company’s history. The year 2020 also marks the arrival of Divisions MS, a company located in Chicoutimi, within the group.
Driven by a desire for expansion and innovation, the company began expanding its factory to accommodate state-of-the-art equipment for a new production line dedicated to manufacturing laminate lockers. This strategic project plays a key role in the growth of Groupe Sani-Tech, allowing it to broaden its product offering and strengthen its market position. The company now aims to distribute its products across North America, further solidifying its ambition to become a leader in its field.
