What does Groupe Sani-Tech do?

Groupe Sani-Tech is a subcontractor in the construction industry. We manufacture and distribute architectural products for buildings. We’ve even been the biggest in our field in Quebec for over 45 years. Not bad, right?! More specifically, we manufacture toilet partitions and lockers. Our 50 employees will tell you: it’s a great place to spend 35-40 hours a week! We’re adding a drafter to our team because we’re expanding with the development of our new product.

What will you do during your internship?

• Manage daily priorities for scheduling shop drawings to be produced and transmitted to clients.
• Ensure that standards and measurements are respected and conform to plans, and evaluate/anticipate if clarifications are required.
• Keep technical documentation up to date (installation manuals, specifications, technical data sheets, etc.).
• Produce manufacturing drawings based on recorded site measurements for production.
• Print production files that are delivered to the factory.
• Perform all other related tasks that may help in the realization of projects.

Skills:

• DEC in architecture or design or DEP in building drawing, or any training deemed equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in similar functions.
• Very good command of AutoCAD software.
• Strong ability to read plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks software (asset).
• English (an asset).

Aptitudes:

• Motivation and interest in the construction field.
• Ease with calculations and spatial vision.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work with tight deadlines on several projects simultaneously.
